Red: The element of fire.Used in strong passion and
blood of the moon ceremonies.

Orange: Used for inner peace, success and legal matters.

Copper: Used for success in business and career.

Gold: The essence of the God, wealth and masculine power.

Yellow: The essence of the sun, happiness and intelligence.

Pink: Romantic love, healing and blessings.

Green: Essence of the Goddess, healing, money, fertility and growth.

Blue: Used for peace, protection and wisdom.

Purple: A power color for psychic ability; extra strength in spells.

Silver: Telepathy, spiritual strength and wisdom.

Brown: Earth work, elemental magick, and symbolism.

Black: Wards off negative energy. Also for binding and shapeshifting.

White: Spirit, protection, general reinforcement, higher knowledge.

Color is very powerful energy. Use it wisely and with care. Annoint candles with corresponding oils, and burn related incense.Example: If I were using a green candle for healing, I would annoint the candle with healing oil, and carve the words 'heal " name of person" in the candle. If you do not have the correct oil for annointing you may replace it with Olive oil. I would burn a peaceful scent such as sage, or sandalwood. Sandalwood is an excellent all purpose incense.

Here are some common uses for candle magick:

To make a love candle melt several pink household size (6") candles over low heat. When they are completely melted, remove from heat, add several pink or red rose buds (ground) and 20 to 30 drops of Rose Oil. Pour into a prepared glass jar (with wick and metal tab attached). Allow the candle to cool and harden, and burn on the first Friday after the New Moon to draw love to you.

Use Sage powder some and add to your homemade yellow candles. These I burn on a Wednesday during the Waxing Moon to increase knowledge and wisdom. You can also add the powedered Sage to store bought candles after they have burned sown about 1/4 of an inch, or use the same method used for the love candles.
